Updates for 2021:
- There are now over 5,800 titles with new content being added almost daily.
- There are over 580 titles on Indigenous culture, peoples and issues.
- 90% of the content is Canadian.
- There are 265 documentaries (and growing) by Canadian and international producers.
- Podcasts are now available covering many different topics.
- Hundreds of French titles are being added in the coming weeks.
- A new platform that allows the user to toggle between French and English as the default platform language will be made live in the next few weeks with several other platform upgrades.

Pricing is now available for the Can-Core license renewing January 1, 2021. Pricing has increased by approximately 1.5% over 2020.
Can-Core has been developed exclusively by McIntyre Media for Canadian post-secondary institutions and provides 90% Canadian content. Previously it was offered as an add on for the Films on Demand database but has now been significantly updated with a separate platform.
