Preamble:

Renewal pricing is now available for Films on Demand streaming video collections. Pricing has increased 2.5% over 2016. Three new products are also on offer: the Physical Therapy Video and Veterinary Video Collections, and the CAN-CORE Post-secondary Canadian content platform.

From the vendor:

  • Physical Therapy Video Collection [4]: (155+ titles) This collection will help physical therapy students learn and practice crucial techniques in ways textbooks alone cannot. These short instructional clips from trusted producer Wolters Kluwer Health cover a wide range of physical therapy interventions and examinations, from stretching techniques to wrapping a shin splint.
  • Veterinary Video Collection [5]: (245+ titles) This collection is designed to help veterinary and veterinary tech students gain a strong foundation in veterinary anatomy, physiology, and behavior while learning basic veterinary procedures and an understanding of the workplace.
  • CAN-CORE Post-secondary [6]: (920+ titles; 2,200 segments) Designed for Canadian college and university faculty & students, CAN-CORE is your go-to destination for current and relevant Canadian video content. Our streaming platform features quality programming from many of Canada’s best producers. Educators and students now have an extensive library of Canadian resources to easily integrate into their lectures, labs, research and assignments.
    • 200-300 titles are added every year; over 90% of content is unique to CAN-CORE.
