H. W. Wilson databases cover a wide variety of subject areas including art, education, engineering, humanities, social sciences and more. In addition, H. W. Wilson's Core Collections provide impartial, authoritative guides help librarians build and maintain well-rounded collections of the most highly recommended reference, nonfiction and fiction books.

The Wilson Legacy Bundle consists of seven Wilson indexes that form a single package. Six of these have optional fulltext upgrades. As of 2012, there is no option for new subscribers to join the index and full text upgrade packages, nor can existing subscribers change full text packages. Note that if the Wilson Legacy Bundle is cancelled, it cannot be re-subscribed to.
