Pricing is now available for EBSCO's LGBTQ+ Source (Formerly LGBT Life with Full Text). There has been a 1.5% increase over last year's pricing.

This resource ranked highly in the last BC ELN resource forum. Initial pricing was negotiated as an add on to the Common Suite. After extensive negotiations, EBSCO further reduced initial consortial pricing.

It provides scholarly and popular LGBTQ+ publications in full text, plus historically important primary sources, including monographs, magazines and newspapers. It also includes a specialized LGBTQ+ thesaurus containing thousands of terms. 

Additional content includes author supplied abstracts, author supplied keywords, author affiliations and searchable cited references.

Content includes:

  • More than 120 active full-text journals and magazines
  • 417 indexed and abstracted journals
  • LGBTQ+ thesaurus containing more than 9,500 terms
  • A new collection of 200 first-person narrative videos
